I have 4 works in the Feb-2001 Abstract Art show at MOCA DC.  The show opened Friday night and was a great time.  Quite a few people stopped in and hung around to enjoy the art and atmosphere.  The gallery next door (Parish art) was also having an opening so that was an nice extra.

Parish Gallery Proudly Presents
Anacostia River School of Photography Revealing the Treasures of the East Photographers -
Bruce McNeil, Zandra Chestnut, David Harris, Melanin Douglass, Marlon Norman, and James Holiday

They have a photography show of scenes around the Annacsotia Riverfront area in East DC.  Some real interesting photos too.  Well worth taking a look at them.

The MOCA abstract show includes a variety of styles.  Pure abstracts and representational abstracts both.  Also some spray art from Kevin (Jazi).

The show is running for the next 3 weeks at MOCA DC.  I have 4 pieces in the show, 1 new 3-D piece titled Un-bubbles, another recent 3-D piece titled Pre-D2, and 2 others, Morning Birds and Broken Path 1.  Here are a few pics from the opening on Flickr:
